Public health plays an essential role in protecting and strengthening the health of every community. The Richmond and Henrico Public Health Foundation is a nonprofit organization that develops and mobilizes resources to promote health and health equity in Richmond and Henrico.
To improve health in communities experiencing deep disparities and the longstanding impacts of racism, the Health Equity Fund invests in community-led projects that are filling gaps and strengthening outcomes. Community Advisory Committee (CAC) chooses investments and HEF is seeking additional CAC members. Apply today through Nov. 26th.

New investments were announced on 11/7/24 by Mayor Levar Stoney, Councilmembers Cynthia Newbille and Katherine Jordan, RHHD Health Director Dr. Elaine Perry, and HEF Program Officer Shaleetta Drawbaugh
The HEF is seeking community members with professional and/or lived experience with health challenges in Richmond to inform priorities for future investments. Apply by Nov. 26th!
