Founded in 2021, the Richmond and Henrico Public Health Foundation is a nonprofit organization that seeks to develop and mobilize resources in support of the goals of the Richmond and Henrico Health Districts — local branches of the Virginia Department of Health — in order to promote health and health equity in the City of Richmond and Henrico County.
Local public health agencies from San Francisco to Houston to our neighbors in Chesapeake, VA have all partnered with nonprofit public health foundations to help accelerate their work. Using a proven strategy of close alignment with the goals and priorities of the health districts we support, RHPHF will grow and enhance public health work with and for the communities we serve.

Delaney joined the Foundation in October 2025 to serve as the Interim Managing Director. She is a public health professional with over five years of experience spanning grantmaking, program management, and community engagement. She specializes in operational planning, data collection systems, and grant reporting, with a track record of translating complex initiatives into clear, effective processes. Her work has included compliance monitoring, fiduciary oversight, stakeholder liaison work, and building data infrastructure to support program evaluation and continuous quality improvement.
Delaney is skilled in facilitation, project management, and creating educational and outreach materials that connect communities with public health resources. She is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health at UNC’s Gillings School of Global Public Health, concentrating in Leadership in Practice. Delaney brings a passion for health equity and a commitment to community.
Korinn joined the Foundation in September 2026 to serve as the Grants Coordinator. She is an entrepreneur, nonprofit executive, grant strategist, and business advisor with more than a decade of experience helping organizations build sustainable systems and expand their community impact. She is the Founder of A New Legacy Family Services and the Co-Founder and President of the St. Luke Legacy Center Foundation.
Over the past five years, Korinn has secured more than $1 million in grant funding from many of Greater Richmond’s leading public, private, and corporate funders. She specializes in grant strategy, program design, organizational development, and technical assistance, helping small businesses and nonprofit organizations strengthen infrastructure, diversify revenue, and build long-term sustainability. Korinn has advised hundreds of entrepreneurs through business development and strategic planning. She is passionate about bridging the gap between access, equity, and economic growth that create longstanding legacies for the community.
In addition to dozens of community partners, RHPHF works closely with the team from Richmond and Henrico Health Districts to ensure the close alignment of the Foundation’s work with local public health priorities and opportunities.
The Board and staff of the Foundation collaborate with the professionals at RHHD through Committees and project teams.
RHHD’s Health Director serves ex-officio on the Foundation’s Board of Directors. Additional staff supporting and coordinating with the Foundation include:
