Keeping Our Community Strong

Public health plays an essential role in protecting and strengthening the health of every community. The Richmond and Henrico Public Health Foundation is a nonprofit organization that develops and mobilizes resources to promote health and health equity in Richmond and Henrico.

To improve health in communities experiencing deep disparities and the longstanding impacts of racism, the Health Equity Fund invests in community-led projects that are filling gaps and strengthening outcomes.
